A proofsheet for looseleaf services is now available.
Where statutes require special “zoom-in” treatment, with individual provisions stored separately in the calling application for fine-grained commenting and cross-referencing, looseleaf services require an opposite “zoom-out” treatment. These services are somewhat similar to a website with fluid content that changes over time. Referencing must pinpoint both the place in the volume (by page or section number), and the date of the page. To handle this, the
citeproc-js processor has been extended to accept supplementary date and section information, so that a single item stored in the calling application can cover all dated updates contained within it. The proofsheet under Looseleaf Services illustrates this behavior.
